processing:zentralwerk was created for the opening of Zentralwerk, a new space for the arts in Dresden. The focus of this 3 days long process was on the reconstruction and renovation of the space itself. A performance totalling nine hours resulted in a landscape in which the worlds of the functional and the aesthetic collided. Materials used during the reconstruction period of several years were counteracted with other materials clearly unfit for construction.
