PROCESSING:MOABIT is a big site specific installation. It was shown at Galerie Nord of Kunstverein Tiergarten in the Moabit district of Berlin over the course of one month and was made only by objects belonging to neighbourhood and its multicultural inhabitants. They were purchased by, gifted or lent out to the artists. By taking objects out of their everyday life flow we created a new network among people and their things. through regular performative interventions and outside performers and events – like a refugee girls choir from the district or the European election held in the middle of the installation –the landscape permanently evolved.
