processing:bangka explored the Bangka district of Taipei—its objects, materials, people, rituals, patterns, and traditional practices. The work imitates the process of the emergence and formation of a city or neighborhood: seemingly controlled, yet ultimately beyond our control. It is about the constant production and deletion of images, blurring and merging into one another, and about the simultaneous processes of creation and destruction.
