Peachness is an installation from layers of tangible and medial representations of the female dream of eternal youth, creating a landscape of physicality, change, metamorphosis. Point of departure is the Longevity Peach Bun in its original edible form and its reincarnations as a toy or a container for skin cream. The Longevity Peach is a magical object. In the installation the magic transfers into a chaos of objects, agents of mystification or demystification so that the objects develop their own magic, in a reaction chemical and aesthetical at the same time, periodically manipulated by the performer, who never gains control.
