Infinity peach is a performative installation combining elements of sculpture, object, video and performance that explores the ubiquitous transience and longed-for infinity of human beings in-between the world of goods they have created and the "greater nature." Based on the legend of the "peaches of immortality" and the consumer good shòutaó bao, the closely interwoven relationships of culture and nature are explored through art, mythology and consumption. The original image turns into a decal, the printed cuddly blanket turns into an object of sensuality between a swaddling cloth, a bed sheet and a shroud. The motif of the peach is reproduced in an almost ritualistic manner beyond recognition, and the situations are constantly reimagined by the artist in a process that can theoretically be continued indefinitely.
